Workplace Solutions has provided comprehensive trauma response services to its customers for over 30 years.

Critical events are typically sudden and unexpected and can have an immediate negative impact on employees. Because leaders are experts in their fields and likely not trauma professionals, it can sometimes be difficult to determine the best actions to take. Your call to Workplace Solutions connects you with a trauma response professional who will provide direction on next steps. Trauma response services are available 24/7/365.

How do we help?

When employees experience a difficult or traumatic work-related event, Workplace Solutions provides support to help them better understand what they are experiencing and how to cope with unexpected reactions. We assist leaders with practical ways to support employees in the moment and in the days ahead. As a result, your organization recovers and return to normal productivity more quickly. While these situations are never easy or straightforward, Workplace Solutions can work with you for a positive outcome.

What is a traumatic event?

Workplace Solutions has assisted many organizations and individuals in the wake of numerous dangerous and disruptive events over the years. Situations that we have assisted with include: accidents in the workplace, neighborhood violence, serious illness or death of an employee, natural disasters, robberies, and threatening or unusual employee (or customer) behavior. In all of these situations, there is a perceived or actual threat to an employee’s well-being. Also, the employee’s ability to cope may be temporarily overwhelmed.

Best approach.

Your crisis response professional will help you determine the best approach for your situation. The professional will obtain key information about the situation as well as information about your employees’ involvement and current status. This helps determine the best type and timing of the response. The recommended response may include an on-site response or telephonic services.

Many of our customers have trauma response services included in their agreements with Workplace Solutions. These services are also available on a fee for service basis. Please contact us to learn more about available options.
