Disability Management Solutions

Workplace Solutions^® goal is to be creative and flexible in developing service models that reflect the organizational goals of each employer.  Since 1996, Workplace Solutions^® has become increasingly involved in providing case management services for employees who need to take disability leave from work.  Workplace Solutions^® believes these services can best be coordinated through a comprehensive program utilizing case management services, early intervention and support for employees using workers compensation or disability leave.

Disability Management Solutions is separate from and in addition to, standard EAP services.  This program would be a component of the leave process and any non-compliance would be subject to consequences of the disability or workers compensation leave policy.

The program consists of a combination of administrative and clinical/case management services. 

Administrative Services:

• Designing an informational brochure describing the services and referral process.
• Management consultation and review of any prospective employee cases and services.
• Educational meetings with employees to coordinate services.
• Written case reports and annual summary reports of services provided and cost analysis.

Clinical and Case Management Services:

• Professional assessment to determine the necessity for behavioral health treatment.
• Coordination of necessary treatment and/or specialty evaluations.
• Development of return to work plans with timeframes and review periods
• EAP counseling (when appropriate).
• Case Management services and communication with all involved parties.
• Monitoring and follow up after return to work.
