What Does Your Account Manager Do for You?

Each client company is assigned an EAP professional to be their designated Account Manager.  Your Account Manager is your key contact throughout the implementation of the EAP Program and for the delivery of ongoing EAP services.

Your Account Manager maintains a close, collaborative relationship with the designated contact(s) within your organization to discuss the following areas:

  • Coordination of promotional materials and events
  • Consultation related to organizational needs
  • Review of employee satisfaction with the EAP Program
  • Delivery of program utilization reports
  • Planning of educational/wellness programs

Management Consultation

Workplace Solutions® is a valuable resource to your organization by providing support and guidance when it comes to dealing with difficult situations in the workplace.  Dealing with work performance issues and problem behavior with employees can be challenging for even the most seasoned professional.  This becomes more complicated when the behavior is a result of a mental health issue, substance abuse or other personal concern.

Workplace Solutions® provides:

  • Direction on identifying clear performance objectives for employees with deteriorating work performance.
  • Assistance to supervisors and managers on how to approach an employee about their work performance problems that may or may not be related to personal concerns.
  • Education on how to document performance concerns and your attempts to address them.
  • Coaching on how to make a supervisory referral to the EAP as a way of providing support to employees who may have personal concerns affecting their performance.
  • Guidance on how to maintain focus on the relevant work performance objectives rather than on an employee’s personal problems.

Our professional staff are available to consult with supervisors, managers and human resource professionals, at the point of problem recognition, during the constructive intervention process or while the employee is engaged in care.

Supervisory Referrals

An employee should be considered for referral to the EAP if there is a deterioration of job performance characterized by missed deadlines, frequent tardiness or excessive absenteeism or if there have been behavior changes resulting in increased conflict with co-workers, withdrawal or decreased productivity.  Any sudden or unexplained change for the worse in the performance or behavior of a typically effective employee may indicate the presence of a problem that the EAP may be able to resolve.
