As President of Workplace Solutions, LLC, Steve provides strategic direction and support for the senior leadership team. He also serves as a clinical consultant to the EAP staff. In his role as a management consultant, Steve is often called upon during times of transition and/or crisis to assist our clients on matters related to strategic planning, corporate reorganization, culture transformation, strengthening alliances, succession planning, and executive development at the individual or team level.

Steve received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Saint Louis University. He earned his B.S. degree in Chemistry from the University of Illinois. In addition to his formal training, Steve has acquired “hands on” business experience as the chief executive for health care organizations in both the profit and non-profit arenas. Steve also served as the global leader of human resources for a highly respected marketing communications firm, where his expertise in human capital and corporate development supported the company’s transformation from a very successful, private enterprise to a world-class, publicly traded industry leader.

Steve has authored the Strategic Organizational Recruiting Tool (SORTtm), its companion Selecting Talent™ workshop and several organizational assessment instruments. He also is the co-creator of the BrainFood Café tm, a development program for senior executives that teaches practical leadership competencies and sound business principles within a creative learning environment. Steve has been quoted in various national, regional and local periodicals. He speaks frequently on a variety of human capital topics including: conflict resolution, diversity, leadership, managing change, team development, and workplace violence prevention.
